Next to Schloss Nymphenburg [Nymphenburg Palace] you will find the new botanical garden (north of the gardens of Schloss Nymphenburg). The garden, one of the finest botanical gardens in Europe, was laid out 1909 - 1914. It covers 2 sq km (.75 sq mile) and contains over 15.000 species of plants.
