MUNICH: OLYMPIAPARK [OLYMPIC PARK]

1972 the Olympic Summer Games took place in Munich. Almost 40 years later the olmpic facilities do still exist and you can still use them (e. g. take a bath in the Olympic Swimming Pool or just step in for watching, spectators enjoy free entrance.) Walk through the park and enjoy the breath taking architecture featuring the famous glass roofs! If you dare you can even walk around on the glass roof of the Olympic Stadium (of course only within a guided tour). You will also have a very good view on the city of Munich and the Alps from the top of the Olympic Hill, or, if you prefer an elevator, from the top of the Olympic Tower.
