Munich - Events: Energy in the Park
For the fifth time the open-air music festival ENERGY IN THE PARK will be held in Munich´s Olympic Park. On 28 August 2011 international acts including the Arctic Monkeys
and Guano Apes
will perform with an energetic blend of rock, pop and soul.
The Arctic Monkeys are currently the most successful Brit-rock band on stage. The four guys have already filled concert halls, even before a deal was in sight. Pregnant with their catchy Brit-rock singles they do it regularly in the charts. Since June 2011 their fourth studio album "Suck It and See" is out.
After their reunion the Guano Apes brought again fresh air into the German music scene: "Bel Air"
landed at number one immediately.
This year's line-up is completed by London's exceptional talent Eliza Doolittle
, Joy Denalane
, as the secret "Queen" of the German soul and R & B scene, and the Scandinavian artist Mads Langer
, renowned for his 
European-surprise hit "You're Not Alone".
