MUNICH: FRIEDENSENGEL [ANGEL OF PEACE]
The Friedensengel [Angel of Peace] on the eastern bank of the Isar was erected in 1899 on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the peace accord with France. Two staircases lead to a viewing terrace outside the 38 meter high column. On sunny days you will have a beautiful view over Munich´s old town along the Prinzregentenstreet.
