NEARBY MUNICH: BOAT TRIPS

Enjoy a boat trip on one of the beautiful lakes around Munich. From Easter to mid-October the Bayerische Seenschifffahrt offers boat trips on the nearby lakes Ammersee and Starnberger See. These two lakes can be reached easily by S-Bahn-trains to Herrsching (Ammersee) and Starnberg (Starnberger See). Those wishing to discover the Ammersee from its most beautiful side should take a ride on one of the nostalgic paddle steamers. Tegernsee and Königssee are further away, but for these two there is even a special winter timetable.
